My method is very student-centered: learn the student's interests, strengths, weaknesses, and needs, and the way to properly teach them anything will be clear as day. I began teaching in fifth grade when my science teacher conceded that I knew more about sharks than he did, so when we got to that lesson, I took over for two days. In tenth grade, I had an internship at my high school teaching ninth grade Global Studies. When I graduated college, I began substitute teaching while I wrote my first few novels.
