The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects. Tutoring and diagnostic testing is available after school, evenings (Monday – Friday) and Saturday mornings. The clinic is available year-round. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I teach beginner Spanish to students wanting to learn a new language.

Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. I also have a Master's degree in Reading. Anything can be achieved with dedication and the right help

I am direct without being overpowering. I have learned how to help the student come to the right answer compared to explaining why the answer is what it is. Talking them through the thought process of the problem is the first step to solving the problem on their own.

First, I must say that I am not only a Spanish native speaker (born and raised in Mexico), but I also have a double degree (undergraduate) in Spanish and Psychology, and a Masters in Spanish. Additionally, I worked for almost two decades as a Spanish radio host, and I also have more than four years of tutoring experience (corporative and private). I tutor students in many subjects, particularly Spanish at all levels, and basic math, reading and writing.
