The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects. Tutoring and diagnostic testing is available after school, evenings (Monday – Friday) and Saturday mornings. The clinic is available year-round. Our testing clinician and school psychologist offer a Psychoeducational Evaluation to all new students. I consider myself to be very empathetic. As such, I try to put myself in the shoes of the student I am teaching in an attempt to understand what motivates him/her most effectively. I feel that learning is best acheived when both the student and the tutor are approaching the problem from the same perspective.
I had spent most of my professional career with the Follett Higher Education Group and sincerely enjoyed working in this academic environment. In my role as Media Manager, I created and implemented media plans for numerous college bookstores across the US and in Canada.
