I have earned a bachelor degree, in History and Comparative History of Ideas, which has strengthened my analytical understanding and approach to academics. A Little Bit About Me...

In 1972, I was introduced to a 12 year old Taiwanese girl who had been living in the United States with her sister's family for about one year. Anna attended Denny Junior High School, spoke very little English, and was having a very difficult time at school and at home. I tutored Anna in mathematics in 7th and 8th grades. In ninth grade, she was able to make B grades in her math classes without my intervention. Anna graduated from Sealth High School in about 1976 and, shortly after became manager of a Fred Meyer's auto parts department.
I believe I can help your child overcome the "I can't get it" attitude. I am patient, not-at-all intimidating, and will occasionally have the student study other material so that I may review the information leading up to the material he or she is having trouble with.
