I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in a play-based approach to teaching new concepts. My approach to teaching is to generate excitement over learning, which I believe helps cement ideas in young children’s heads. Special Educator with many hats and minds to utilize.

I believe that we all learn better one way versus another but it does not negate the many ways of learning as well.
