I believe visual learning is key to a successful student, so i usually draw out or show videos and explain step by step what they just saw. What student do not understand if i can (usually i can :)). In term of my Science experience being a biology major i have taken several Biology classes and was a Biology tutor/ Workshop leader for over a year, i have also taken a few Chemistry classes as well. I love children of all ages, including Middle School and Highschool. I do not alweats go by the book. I do what I feel is best for that particular child's learning style. I teach outside the box and encourage learning rather than straight memorization. I help children love learning. I taught in public school and private. While doing so and during summers, I tutored on my own. I got married in 1986, had three children and stayed out of the classroom for a while.
