Teaching and School Counseling Services In One Place!

My style of education is to teach by modeling. Students need to see things in a step-by-step format with instructions, followed by an immediate example. I also provide sample argumentative essays for students who learn by seeing a complete model. My counseling style is to work with students, first by building a rapport and then using that as the foundation to get a feel for their college/career interests. I then look at their grades to help them build a custom transitional plan into early adulthood.
I have been a teacher for the last fifteen years. I teach social studies, but my specialization is teaching argumentative (college level) writing.I have done plenty of SAT prep and tutoring for students at the high school and college level. I have a bachelor degree of Journalism from the University of Dakar Senegal.I was a journalist at the national Radio-TV of Senagl for 15 years, before coming to New-york; where I was for three years; diplomat at the UN where: I was in charge of the communication Strategies of the Mission of Senegal to the UNITED-NATIONS. From 2001 to this day, I am working in a law firm in Hartford Connecticut in charge of the files. I am 57 years old.
