Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I have been teaching/tutoring Chemistry for the last 18 yrs. Chemistry was my minor in College and I have lots of passion and love for the subject. I engage the student directly and assist them with the math too that arises in the Chemistry problems. I love doing online as well as text book problems and make use of lots of Chemistry videos online, as well as been doing lots of Chemistry labs in the past. I have prepared students for the Regents as well as other exams in Chemistry, in both private and public school.

My teaching style included using lots of creativity and passion to drive instruction, while focusing on state standards as well as applying creative techniques to make students understand the concepts in math and science. I love to have students involved in the lesson directly, and I use lots of evaluation mechanism.
I have been teaching/tutoring the major Sciences and Mathematics subjects for the last 18 years. I have worked at the College, as well as with high and middle schools. As a teacher, I find that the best way to reach students is to relate what we are learning to everyday life. For example, I teach the gas laws using the chemistry of popcorn and conservation of mechanical energy using roller coaster design. I want my students to understand that science is everywhere and it is fun!
