I have been involved with education for roughly the past five years, spending 2 as a substitute teacher, 2.5 as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher and 0.5 as an Adult Education Instructor. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Studies Education from Morehead State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Alice Lloyd College. Classes I have taught include United State History, World History, World Geography and Law & Justice. My teaching style varies depending on the students I am teaching. It consists of lecture notes, handouts, exams and quizes and games such as Jeopardy. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow as individuals. I've had more than 15 years of experince in teaching college-level Math courses ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Differential Equations and Real Analysis. I also have been tutoring students in different levels of Math for about 13 years. Presently, I'm an Assistant Professor at a small local University. I enjoy working with students, especially in small-group or individual settings.
