American History is one of my top subjects! I have taken the class in Middle and High school. Also in boarding school, and took trips to D.C. for history class.

I have attended the top Arkansas prep school since middle school(Episcopal Collegiate). I never had enough time to tutor because of sports, but I tore my meniscus this august so I am free now. I tutor my little brothers(one is mentally disabled)when they need it, and I have tutored only a couple others. My best subjects are government, economics, History(all), and English.
I can adapt to the needs of the students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always expressed an interest in the education field since graduating high school. I earned my AA as well as my BA while serving on active duty in the Army. I was in the military for 8 years and recently seperated to persue a civilian career in order to be closer to my family. While I was in the military I found myself in leadership positions as well as instructor positions throughout varies activities in my career. I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters in Education with a Curriculum Development degree.
I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. A Little Bit About Me...

I always adapt my teaching style to fit the student. I am willing to do just about anything to help a student learn a subject, so long as that student is as dedicated to learning it as I am to teaching it. It takes two people working together in order to have a sucessful tutoring session.

I enjoyed the one-on-one experience thoroughly and quickly returned to tutoring at Arkansas School for the Blind. During my three years of employment with ASB, I improved ACTAAP reading scores of two students with reading/learning impairments after one year of tutoring sessions from Below Basic to Basic.
