While I was continuing my education at Marian University, I would tutor other students in Managerial Accounting. Accounting is a very difficult concept for people to understand and I enjoyed working with them one on one to help them get through this course. Accounting is important to understand as it could help the individual out in their personal finances as well. Too many people rely on credit cards to purchase items and can easily get out of control without a good concept of a budget.
While working at SM Construction I analyzed all the financial statements, processed the month-end closing, investigated errors and adjusted journal entries as necessary. A Little Bit About Me...

I go through all the concepts with the individual pertaining to what portion of statistics they are studying at that time. I will then walk them through a couple of examples demonstrating how to properly obtain the correct answer. I will follow that up by asking them to do a problem without any direct instruction from me. I will watch them work on the problem to assure they are working on it properly. If any mistakes are made I will politely point them out as the individual is working. Finally, I will ask them to work on problems completely on their own and I will check their answers when they are done. I feel the only way to learn statistics, or any math for that matter, is through repetition and working on a lot of problems.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.
