My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taken creative writing classes in high school, and college. I received an A in both classes.

Friendly, helpful, adapts to learning style of the student.
I worked as a computer instructor, from September 2009-May 2009, in Los Angeles, CA. I spent 9 months teaching various adults, how to use the computer programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I taught students, in a classroom setting. I also, would do private lessons at the student's location. I also, have experience working with kids. I have 3 nieces, and 2 nephews. As they were growing up, I spent a lot of time with them.

I have been an elementray school teacher in Texas for the last 8 years. I have primarily focused on reading/language arts, however I do have 3 years of math experience. The schools that I have taught in had many struggling students, and I was known to be the teacher that could help bring those students up to grade level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I completed my B.S in Biology in 1991 and my M.S. in Wildlife Research in 1994. I have 2 manuscripts published in the Journal of Wildlife Management. I worked for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for 14 years as an Endangered Species Research Scientist. I have extensive experience in science, math, technical writing, computer programming, and database management. For the last 18 months I have been laid off and enjoying parenting my 2 children who are 11 and 7. As an undergraduate, I was very much driven to accomplish a level of education in computer science. I have earned one associate degree in Technical Support and Bachlor degree in Computer Science which has helped me enabled to gain an understanding in various areas of computer and math.
