The most enjoyable and satisfying part of installing new Accounting systems in businesses was the opportunity to teach the accounting staff how to generate timely and accurate financial statements. Internal controls was an important component of each new introduction. I am patient with demanding staff and officers during the implementation process and afterward, during phone support calls. I would enjoy teaching and broadening young minds to appreciate the subject of accounting and become passionate about it as I am. As a graduate of a Liberal Arts university in Virginia, I excelled in English, History, Law, and Foreign Languages. Writing thoroughly-researched and articulate essays were my speciality. A Little Bit About Me...

In grade school I was the kid to whom others turned for help. In high school I found myself tutoring my friends in subjects as diverse as plane geometry, algebra, latin, and essay writing. It was not until I was working to earn my BA in English literature and volunteering as composition tutor in the English department language lab, however, that I discovered the real joy for me of one on one instruction. Since those days I have co-authored, books and articles and helped edit and revise material for academic journals in addition to informal tutoring for friends and family.
My job as tutor is not to lead students to learning, but rather to help them master the fundamental skills that will help them find their own unique paths. I was born in a french country where I studied in French for over 18 years, and I went to France to study for 1 year, and later I moved to the United States. My writing and speaking in both French and English are superior. I taught mathematics in my native country for 5 years, and I taught french at Spokane community college for the academic year of 2006-2007. I can teach mathematics and french.
