I have a love for teaching with younger children. I truly believe that every child can learn, whatever thier circumstance. I am very outgoing, loving, and cosiderate. My desire is to teach your child in such a way that they will be able to take with them as they are an adult.
As a college student, I understand the importance of learning and experiencing new things daily. I think I can provide exceptional one on one tutoring for a student of any age. My knowledge has been spread out throughout my college years and this would be a great first step into teaching. Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age. I was a nanny for a family of three for a year right after graduating. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to create my own lessons and activities for the children. The following year I was a substitute teacher in Wisconsin for various grade levels and loved each experience. I am looking forward to beginning to substitute teach again this December in the DeKalb area.
