I have been a substitute teacher at the Inter Lake elementary school for over four years. I have owned a Math and Reading Center for 12 years from 1992 to July of 2005. I have worked with preschool to high school levels. It was an after school program. I have experience with students in all different levels of Math and Reading. I enjoy working with small groups. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that learning is ongoing throughout life, and that we all differ in our learning styles. I like to present a topic so that it is fun, usually with tactile work using math manipulatives, or flash cards, props, and games that teach conceptual thinking skills, and methods of learning using visuals, as well as auditory cues.
I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities.
