My comments on tutoring Spelling : I have taught phonics for many years and am therefore able to break down the spelling words into sounds and syllables to help students learn.

To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. I'm also good in science.
My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.

Spelling is one of my top subjects!

I attended Rufus King World IB High school in Milwaukee, Wi, one of the most prestigious inner city high schools in the country. I excelled in IB Geography, Chorus, and Theatre. I was one of those kids who never did any homework, but passed my tests. Everyone came to me for help on projects, homework, ect. I feel that I didn't fully utilize my strengths in school as I could have, so I would love to share that with those who need it now.

I have a calm teaching style and approach. My goal is to help clear confusion for students by teaching them several easy steps to keep in mind while writing.
I have helped many of my friends and other students become better writers throughout and beyond my college career. I have seen all of these students gain good grades for their work, and they also became better writers through the process. Writing papers is one of the few things I found easy in college.
