Tutor for accounting/math and elementary students!

I'm a hands-on learner. I believe in learning from mistakes. I encourage students to try and see how far they get before they stumble then we can work through their problems together. Sometimes they know more than they think and all they need is a confidence boost! My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : I work in a Self-contained AU classroom and we work on the elementary level of phonics and math with the children.

I like to get on the child's level and teach that way. I like to ask the children what their best way is to learn and what are some of their favorite things are so I can incorporate them into the lesson.
I have been working with Elementary children for over 10 years now. I have helped all ages with homework, sports, and life skills (current job now as EC TA). I also have been coaching for the past five years in cheerleading and soccer, but in different age groups. I have been in the school system for the past year in a half and have worked on phonics, math, science, and life and social skills with AU students.
