I have had the honor of working with many kids in regards to a variety of fields. My experiences taught me responsibility, patience, the importance of learning and education, and much more. I have 5 nephews and a daughter of my own shop I'm great with children. I was an honors grad and I also became a certified nursing assistant before I even graduated high school. I'm great in public speaking and have had many speeches myself with an audience of over one hundred. I do know the main signs as well as the alphabet for sign language because I have a brother and sister whom are deaf. Also I have always been great in mathematics. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Colgate University. Later, I attended Penn State University where I studied elementary education and earned my teacher’s certification after taking classes, interning, and student teaching. I taught for six years: four years in first grade and two years in third grade. While teaching full-time, I also tutored for the school system after-school, on Saturdays, and during the summer. As a college senior, I've come to value greatly my education. Prior to enrolling at the University of Georgia, I made a perfect 800 on the math section of my SATs. Even though I am a science major, I have a great understanding of math. Currently, I tutor middle schoolers in basic algebra, most of whom are struggling and need a lot of help.
