I passed the ASVAB and served in the Marine Corp from October 2004 to October 2008. I was a motor transport operator. I served two tours in Iraq. I am a leader and believe that I will be a great asset to helping others in their desire to join the military. IMPROVE READING AND WRITING SCORES IN CLASS AND ON THE ACT.

I have been an AP Literature and Composition teacher as well as Twelfth grade Language Arts instructor for over 16 years. I am acutely aware of the needs of students as it relates to mastering reading and writing skills. I have also taught an ACT Prep course for the past 5 years after extensive training at workshops and conferences. I know the importance of identifying weaknesses in reading, writing, and on standardized tests such as the ACT and directing my instruction to those weaknesses. As a graduate of Mississippi State University, I earned a BS and Master's degrees in Physical Education. I have teaching certificates in Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Technology Applications. I have taught science classes for over forty years.
