In becoming a counselor, I have had a passion for helping others for a long time. It makes me smile and gives me much joy to see someone else achieve thier goals. I am very flexible in teaching because everyone learns in different ways. I feel very strongly about education, so I would like to provide a comfortable and educational environment for students to learn at their full potential. I have always enjoyed assisting our youth work through various academic endeavors. I have been tutoring grades k-12 for several years now. I have helped all ages with a wide variety of assignments.
My teaching style varies based on the age of the student. I like to be a little more animated with my k-6 graders. On the other hand, with my 7-12 graders I focus more so on making a connection with the material--showing them how it relates to them.
