Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them. My teaching style is interactive. I like to give students a chance to apply what they have learned in groups or aloud amid classroom peers. Each student is different and might require more assistance than others, so in practice, the more the student works at a problem the better he/she becomes. In some cases remediation could be in order and if so, take home practice work could be in order.

Many people have different teaching skills and techniques. I do not believe any technique to educate a child is better than any other technique. Each child learns differently. Understanding the fact that children learn differently is crucial. The teacher must be able to adapt to the child's learning style. My passion is in watching others to succeed, and I am willing to change my own methods to make that happen. Thus, my tutoring style depends almost entirely on the student as I have found that the most common reason a tutor is needed is that the student's learning style does not match with the teacher's teaching style.
