My comments on tutoring Psychology : My bachelor's degree is in Psychology.

I received a 34 on the reading section of the ACT and a 32 on the English section. I am graduating in May with a BS in Psychology at the University of Kentucky. I have had tutoring experiences with a wide range of ages, from middle school students to college students. I currently tutor college students and am hoping to expand my tutoring services.
I like to make learning an interactive process as I believe students are more likely to retain what they learn when they have an active role in their success of understanding the material. Experienced Tutor with Expertise in Math and Social Science

I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. Young inexpensive tutor with modernized teaching strategies

I don't think I have really developed a "unique style" by only teaching a year or so. I am a very patient person and I really like to see the "sparkle" in a students eye, when they truly understand something for the 1st time. I like to explain a concept and then give the student a problem and see if they get it. If not, I will go over as many times necessary...until they understand the material.
