In 2005 I obtained a degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish and in 2009 obtained a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked with children of normal intelligence and what cognitive disabilities. Although my degrees are not directly related to math, I use mathmatical concepts daily. My classrooms involve learning-centered groups in a workshop approach. I find that students are encouraged by the examples of other writers and learners at their own levels.
