I am an art K-12 major in college at the moment. I love art, and I love learning, and helping children learn. I am very proficent in many arts, english, history and computer skills. I have worked with children and teaching them how to write and read. I also help the kids i babysit with their homework, and other things school related that they may need help on. A Little Bit About Me...

As an university graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in accounting, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, all phases of accounting and financials. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers, along with essays in many various areas of study. I have a broad range of teaching experience. I've worked with students with behavior and developmental disorders, English Language Learner students, and a wide variety of ability and age levels. My previous positions allowed me to work in both rural and urban areas with students and families from various social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
I do my best to determine how each child learns and tailor my instruction accordingly. I realize not everyone processes information in the same way and work hard to vary my teaching methods as needed. If a student is struggling, I seek input from the student and their parents. First and foremost, getting to know the student and what appeals to them most is the objective. Correlating things that excite or motivate him/her with the subject of study helps maintain focus. From there on, giving a lead for the student to follow has worked best for me. Like filling in a blank to complete a statement, this approach provides a context for the pupil to work in, a guide.
