Throughout my academic career, I have been motivated to achieve at a high level, regardless of the discipline I was studying. This motivation has allowed me to obtain two bachelor degrees, a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Psychology. Between my studies at Roberts Wesleyan College in the liberal arts field, where I earned a bachelors degree, and my studies in math and computational science I have an exceptionally broad knowledge base. My work experience further illustrates this having worked briefly as an English teacher in Prague as well as the various sales and customer service jobs I have had including Verizon Wireless, Wegmans, and Radio Shack.
I love working with people and teaching them about the things that I am passionate about. As a freshman forensic chemistry undergraduate student I was tested out of the general chemsirty courses offered at York College. This being the case I needed to find a way to keep chemistry fresh in my mind till the higher level courses were available to me. A professor suggested that I become a lab assistant for the general chemistry classes. This job included preparing all necessary chemicals as well as working closely with the students and faculty. I helped tutor students in both the lab and classroom. I remained a lab assistant for all four years of my college career and helped train many new lab assistants who were also students.
