Journalism is one of my top subjects! I am an experienced news and features writer, in my seventh year of employment for a weekly newspaper in Chino and Chino Hills. My comments on tutoring Journalism : Minored in writing at Loyola Marymount and took Journalism 1 and 2. I also was a history major, which required a great deal of research writing.

I am extremely calm and teach at my students speed. Being dyslexic and not learning how to read or write until I was in 7th grade I am understanding and well-tempered to learning speeds. I also have strong verbal communication skills.
My studies in history have made me a terrific writer and researcher. I also have a great amount of experience in creative writing having taken many courses and working in talent agencies. My comments on tutoring Journalism : How to write subject specific articles and how to cite your work properly.

I think people learn best when they are in a supportive and exciting environment. Education should engage students on multiple levels. I emphasis critical thinking skills and multi-faceted learning rather than asking students to spit back information that they won't retain. Knowledge is power and I encourage students to think beyond their grades so that they can harness their own potential.
