Hello, my name is Jessica. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Le Moyne College in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Accounting in Utica. I have experience tutoring all types of math subject levels. I was an honor society tutor throughout high school and helped students achieve passing grades on Regents exams. I also helped tutor my peers throughout college in upper level math courses. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching. I always get well prepared before I sit down with someone. A couple of hours of preparation beforehand can make the difference between a tedious, unproductive experience and one that encourages the student and makes the excited about learning. I try to help with sticking points and not to lecture. I have discovered that people tend to remember answer to their questions and if I try to explain a deeper meaning it will only bore them and make them less interested.
At the University of Illinois at Chicago I earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and worked as a teaching assistant for three sememsters of graduate school. A Little Bit About Me...

Both of my parents were teachers and I find myself sharing my knowledge with anyone who seems to need it. I have instructed the ladies in my craft group, answered questions posted online, and tried to instill some basic computer upkeep knowledge in the people who've asked me for help with their personal computers. I loved explaining the world to my children and I miss the joy and wonder of a child who has just understood something for the first time.
