I am a big believer in stationed teaching concepts. A student must first, learn through audio and visual styles of learning through teacher-student interactions. I work on vocabulary strategies and skills next. The proper vocabulary background for any subject area should be clear and concise to the student. We next work on concept mapping, and linking common themes. There is a process to every step of learning. I will review often to look for missing concepts. Finally, independent learning is another station that is vital important. Assessing how a student can complete tasks on their own gives me an idea how well the instruction is going. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with all students. I believe all children can learn and it is about finding the child's learning style. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery. Sometimes I use manipulatives or games to help with instruction. Other times it is a mini lecture or work sheets. It all depends the child and the material that needs to be taught.
