I have developed a visual but also mathematic style of teaching chemistry which relates every mathematic relationship involved in chemistry to a visual response or reaction. I've stressed practical thought, rational development, and scientific reasoning to ensure it becomes a second nature. I think it's Important to pace your studies and maintain a consistent schedule to avoid overworking. May require some work outside of tutoring classes but never exceeding 20/30 minutes of work. I have worked with children for over 15 years. During this time I have provide homework help and tutoring in Math, Reading and Spanish. The children that I have worked with range in age from 5 to 17 years old. I have also done an extensive amount of work with infants and toddlers in the field of early learning as a nanny. My experience in working with children of so many ages has helped me to know what steps to implement in order to make children feel comfortable and confident while addressing challenges to learning materials. I have always enjoyed math and reading as a student and spent a short period of time studying Spanish abroad. During my time in college I was even more hands on with the youth enrichment at my church, working as a counselor/mentor for Vacation Bible School and the after school program.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I have one year of experience tutoring university students but am willing to work with students of any age and adapt to their learning styles. I lived and studied in Salamanca, Spain for three months as well as lived and studied in San Jose, Costa Rica for two weeks. I have also traveled to other Spanish speaking countries such as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

I am flexible. I would like to teach the way the student will benefit the most, so I will ask him how he would like to learn.
I have a year experience tutoring university students, but I am willing to try any age group. I was paid to tutor basic up to intermediate/advanced Spanish. During summer 2015 I worked in a Latino Hispanic American Community Center doing translations and also some tutoring adults.
