During my undergraduate years at the University of Oregon, I spent several months in Mexico teaching English to children ranging in age from 6-15. During this time I perfected my Spanish as well, and wrote many papers in both Spanish and English. While pursuing my Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Tulsa, I taught Kumon math classes to children, and fellow Engineering students in electronics. I have kept up my French reading and speaking skills. Recently I have been intensively studying dance, especially salsa, Argentine tango, and African, and have been taking some ballet classes. I find that I am very effective at helping beginning dance students to develop their talents.

As a graduate from Washington State University with a BA in English, creative writing, and a minor in communications with a washington state secondary teaching certificate I feel I have the knowledge and experience to help any student. I have tutored students in ESL, Spanish, English grammer and composition, guitar and poetry, primarily.
