In addition, I am currently taking courses through Baker College to obtain an M.B.A. where I have maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. throughout the last year. My experience includes tutoring students in reading, writing and elementary education. I also have taught marketing and management workshops for employees. I enjoy teaching and helping children realize their potential. I have worked as a music teacher for 10 years, and I spent one year working as a Title I paraprofessional. As a music teacher, my focus is on music literacy and appreciation. I strongly believe that every child has the right to a quality music education. As a Title I para, I worked with individual and small groups of K-6 students in the areas of reading, writing, and math. A wonderful characteristic of music is that learning and experiencing music addresses all three main learning styles--visual, aural, and kinesthetic.
