I believe that learning is best achieved in a comfortable, nothreatening enviroment. People learn best when they understand the importance of the material being taught, something I strive to convey to my students. While I can easily teach a didactic lecturing style, I feel that an interactive approach often better meets the needs of the students. This approach works well for middle and high school students. It allows students not only to understand the ideas taught but to apply them to other areas as well.
