I love learning and the precision arts such as mathematics. This has driven me to begin in a computer career. I spent almost two decades applying my computer skills. Learning has never stopped for me. But then I love the outdoors and working with my hands. I have taught myself the carpentry trade and the concrete business. I am a recent graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I also competed in Division I athletics while pursuing my degree and I have enjoyed successes in both athletics and academics. For the past year I have been tutoring students in chemistry and mathematics.
I thoroughly enjoy helping students learn and watching students succeed. Complex subjects such as chemistry can be overwhelming to some students and I believe that the best way to teach these subjects is to give the student a firm understanding of the whole concept and then concentrate on the specifics. Finding a way to relate a concept to a student is key.
