I have had over 15 years of tutoring and/or teaching experience. I have worked with different age groups, my preferred and primary being adults. I am currently working on my master’s thesis in mathematics, by which I expect to graduate fairly soon. I am patient, creative, and thorough in my interaction with students. I am also flexible to manage different learning styles while effectively achieving the learning goals of the student. I start off with the student displaying what they know and/or don't know. I enjoy teaching one-on-one and have found this to be the most effective in regards to my students success. I believe that every student can do well in math but every student has a different pace. I try to adapt to each student's pace/learning style as I explain a new concept. After completing my MS in Mathematics from CSU East Bay, I began tutoring high school students privately.
