I love working with children of all ages and abilities and helping them with academics. I don't believe I have a specific teaching style. Often they do not have time to reteach the lesson and students begin to fall behind. With encouragement, guidance, and a new approach, many students can not only "catch up" but also stay succesful in that class. I have been employed by the Cambria Heights School District for 14 years as a Title 1 educator. I currently am involved in curriculum math and reading. I enjoyed tutoring college students interested in physics. During my two years of experienced, I learned that students use different approaches solving physics problems. As a special education teacher, I have experience in a variety of settings such as alternative education, partial hospitalization programs, and autistic support programs.
