I earned a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in School Library Media. I have served on various committees during my career. Being a second year teacher, I was chosen to go to NASA as part of a grant experience and received classroom training from certified NASA employees. As a third year teacher, I, along with the other 4th grade teacher, were recognized by the Governor of Georgia and State Superintendent as being in the top ten percent of increased reading and math scores on the CRCT in the state.
