I am an upcoming freshman at East Georgia State College. During high school, I took all Advanced Placement classes and was rewarded the highest 4-year average in Mathematics, Science, and Literature. Also, I was a dual-enrolled student at EGSC during my high school career, completing advanced level courses in Literature and Mathematics. I scored a 1200 composite in math and reading on the SAT, earning the Zell Miller college tuition scholarship. Additionally, I tutored underclassman in all four core-subjects and for the SAT. I am a visual, hands-on learner and teacher, loving to give many examples and relate the subject to everyday life to make learning more interesting.

I have worked in the Education field for 9 years. I started off as a substitute teacher and later became a "permanent substitute" in 2002. In this same year, I also became a class monitor for Psycho-Edu with the Johnson Co. School System. These jobs both required me to help teach elementary students in every subject. My goal as a teacher is to help children appreciate learning and have fun while doing. I beleive that we all learn in different ways and a person should use a learning strategy that works best for them. I am available to help your child succeed academically. I have had much experience working with children of all ages in the Education Field as a Primary Teacher for Head Start and CIS after school program. I was instrumental in helping other, particulary doctors in making a correct diagnosis of patients by preforming test and documenting data and explaining results to medical personnel to make a proper diagnosis of patients. Also help in determing what drugs was best to prescribe. I am easy to get along with and very patient when showing others new ways of learning.
