Elementary Phonics is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style is largely reliant on the principles of systematic and explicit instruction. When teaching a new concept or reviewing a concept that the student is struggling with, I like to begin with content with which the student feels comfortable and familiar. Thus, we can build up confidence and feelings of competence before we move on to harder material. In addition, I believe in the individuality of the learning process. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching children using hands-on and interactive techniques.
