Teaching others cannot be defined by one style of teaching. The way to teach is by learning first how the student receives the information. Auditory learners and Visual learners require two different methods of teaching. The key is to make the information understandable to the student by breaking the information down in any format. As a child, my dream was to become a veterinarian. I took accelerated, Honors, and AP science classes throughout High School, and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biology in only three years. I later decided that my passion for science would be better utilized in the classroom as an educator. I returned to school at Old Dominion University to pursue my MS and subsequent teaching license.
