I worked in St. Peter Regional Treatment Center with Severe Persistent Mental Ill deaf adults. After this, I worked at MN State Academy for the Deaf for five years as a transition coordinator, working with K-12 students in their transition planning, in compliance with their Individual Educational Plan.

I have completed level 4 at the U of M- Duluth and Saint Paul College. Currently I am enrolled in the Interpreting program at Saint Paul College. I help with grammar and often play word games. I have tutored for American Sign Language levels 1-2 at the University of Minnesota-Duluth for two semesters. I helped students with sentence structure and learning signs. I often use games such as hangman and apples to apples to help with remembering signs. I am currently enrolled in the interpreting program at Saint Paul College.

I also directed and taught children's programs with the YMCA for children age birth through prekindergarten, having received the YMCA Focus Award for Excellence in Children's Programs.
