I have found through my 6 years of teaching students, that flexibility is a key component. Explaining a difficult concept to a student should be customized to each individual students' needs. While earning my bachelor's degree, I worked in several tutoring programs assisting students with reading comprehension and writing composition skills. I taught grammar to small groups, read one-on-one with third graders and assisted junior high school students with their homework assignments.
