I have professionally tutored Math and English as an employee of Ohio University, in a private junior-high and high-school academy, and on an individual basis. I taught a semester of Elementary French at Ohio University in Athens. I am always willing to tutor any subject, but my greatest academic strength lie in language learning. As a non-traditional student, earning an Associates in Applied Science Degree majoring in Respiratory Therapy at Shawnee State University I excelled in both Science and English. I have written several essays, lab reports, and presentations and have been published in Guidepost Magazine. I have experience as a tutor and mentor from elementary (all subjects) to college level (science and English) students. I also have experience with developmentally challenged students.
I have specialize training in “The Gentle Teaching Method” pertaining to the developmentally challenged student. I have discovered that this method works with traditional learners as well. As a music graduate of Morehead State University, I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education.
