I am a recent honors graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in civil and environmental engineering. This course of academic study exposed me to a broad range of upper-level mathematics, physics, and chemistry. During my college career I volunteered with a mentoring program known as Big Brother/ Big Sister to tutor elementary school students, and I also privately tutored fellow college students in Calculus I.

I hold two degrees in Sports Medicine, and was one of the few students in the country in any discipline to have cadaver anatomy courses at the undergraduate AND graduate levels.
