I have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in History. I have 7 years experience as an Engineer. I received a double major in English and Religion at Presbyterian College. I tutored for three years at Thornwell home for children. I have one year experience working specifically with K5-5th grade. I have two years experience working with multi-grade groups. I am proficient in English as well as moderate in Science and Math, with History being my weakest subject.

I mostly help students with Calc I and Calc for Econ problems. In my senior year, I continued to tutor math, but I tutored stats instead of calculus. I also tutored physics.
I first start by explaining the material the way that I understand it. I also show examples to show how the problems are solved. If it doesn't seem to be taking then I start to break the problems down into simple steps and explain each step until the student understands. I was a peer tutor in high school for English and Spanish. I also tutored children in Hebrew at a local temple. In addition, I volunteered as a tutor for underprivileged children in Chicago in all areas: Spelling, Reading, Writing, Math, Language, etc. for grades K-8.
