In English, I was trained in (and advocate) “Faulkner English” as developed by Claude Faulkner and taught at the University of Arkansas. During my college career, I tutored for two years. I tutored first and second year undergraduates, consistently dealing with issues concerning reading comprehension, paper construction, grammar, and developmental thinking. I have also been teaching the last year (9th grade English) at a private school.
