1980- 2015: worked for Nestle as food research chemist and retired in June 2015. Part of my job as a lead research scientist was to supervise and mentor interns. I was also a member of a team that provided training to Nestle employees globally on a regular basis. 1968-1980: Taught Chemistry (College Level) at the University of the East in the Philippines and at Los Angeles Valley College (Community College) in Los Angeles. I did volunteer work at Ohio read for at least 3 years helping Grade 2-3 learn how to read.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since my elementary years I've always been a student driven to succeed and pursue higher levels of education. Recently I've graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. I can also speak and handle any questions in Spanish at an intermediate level. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models. This is an uncreative and highly unnatural way to learn. There's a reason no major discovery was made in a classroom -- true innovation, discovery and learning is an organic process.
