Civil Engineering is one of my top subjects!

As graduate students to have the opportunity to both teach and do research. My teaching skills have been strengthened through a variety of experiences. In particular, I was the sole instructor for Mechanics-Statics (CE 233), with an enrollment of 38 students. In this class, I was responsible for preparing my class notes, teaching, holding office hours, and designing and grading exams. A major struggle for student in this course was to solve three dimensional problems, I used my skills to stimulate their minds as how to view the objects in space and reference it to the 3D coordinate system. In class I stressed the importance of understanding and analyzing problems before anticipating the solution, as I believe it is a critical skill for engineers to master.
