-Worked with students in small groups of 3 to 4 to help develop their basic reading and writing skills. -Helped individual students prepare for exams like the SAT, ACT, and basic test preparation strategies. -Filled out evaluations and reports to chart students' progress. -Worked with kids of all ages from preschoolers through 5th graders, depending on the need. -Implemented pre-made lesson plans, helping students understand the concepts using a variety of activities. -Watched children of various ages from newborns through twelve-year-olds when parents were out. -Helped kids with homework and other activities that needed to be completed. -BS in Psychology from Indiana University. - I am patient with the student and make sure that he/she knows and understand that I am here to help and to provide opportunities to him/her to use the available resources at his/her disposal.

I believe all adults and children are different and various teaching styles work for some, while not others. I teach and show by example and like to give people practice while they are learning, while being available for any questions they have I have worked with children and families within the social work field. I have facilitated training classes for adults as well as went to school with children to help them with their school work. I've tutored them with homework, while working for Seven Counties Consulting Services, as well as privately tutored children. I love to work with children and like seeing them succeed
