A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best aproach to teaching is by finding an area of interest and building off that interest. History can be brought to life through movies, music, literature and other materials to make it come to life.
I was am American History tutor through the Academic Achievement Center at Bridgewater State College for my college career. I have also interned at the middle school level in high school to teach young children the wonders of history. Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
