I enjoy every aspect of teaching. I began in 1987 as a teacher's aide in Georgia. I was later able to return to college to complete my degree in Elementary Education. I have worked as a preschool teacher, elementary teacher, middle school and high school teacher, and I have tutored in Reading, Math, and Science. Much of my methods are based on what I have experienced through the years.

I love working with children, and over my many years of being in school I have witnessed all types of teaching styles. When I began teaching myself, I developed a style that allows the children to think for themselves in order to gain academic success. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring for many years with different kinds of children. To begin with, I tutored my younger sister starting when she was about seven years old to age twelve or thirteen. In high school, I also volunteered for an after-school program for Hispanic children ages seven-twelve where I helped them with their homework in various subjects. In addition, I spent about four months tutoring a severely autistic child, teaching him different communication skills and helping him to form patterns.
